The Carrigan Municipal Information System (CMIS) was developed out of the need to make mapping and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) easier for the municipal employee to use. While mapping is a fully integrated component, CMIS provides functionality far beyond, marking a departure from the way GIS was classically used. The CMIS system is tailored to the ways municipalities function and flattens the learning curve, making its integration into everyday operations logical and straight-forward.
