Carringbush Adult Education

Carringbush Adult Education provides English-as-an-Additional-Language classes for migrants and refugees in Richmond and Collingwood. We are the leading non-profit Registered Training Organisation in the City of Yarra for adults at the beginning of their learning pathway. Carringbush runs a variety of classes that aim to empower the community's most high-need learners, by meeting their specific learning needs. We deliver one of the very few structured English classes to asylum seekers in Victoria. We also provide 'Parenting and Living in Australia' English classes for women, with a focus on new migrant women. In addition, we deliver pre-accredited literacy and digital literacy courses. Carringbush also delivers the following accredited Skills Victoria programs: - Course in ESL / Certificate 1 in ESL - Certificate 1 in Vocational Preparation - Certificate II in ESL (Employment) As well as: -Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) -Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP)
