We are an archaeological project based in the Alentejo region of Portugal investigating the prehistoric settlement of Castelo Velho da Serra d’Ossa. We run a month-long archaeological field school each summer, providing students from all of the world an opportunity to learn about the Iberian Peninsula’s archaeology and later prehistory in addition to its more recent history, culture, and day-to-day life in the Alentejo.
