Business Improvement District to support and enable all businesses in the BID to benefit from the Cathedral Quarter as an attractive, vibrant and safe destination with a sense of community and a lifestyle which is individual, diverse and inspiring. Derby Cathedral Quarter is a Business Improvement District operated by Cathedral Quarter Ltd and project managed by pfbb UK LLP. The Cathedral Quarter BID is the historical commercial part of Derby’s city centre and covers the area from businesses bordering the inner ring road in the north to Victoria St and Albert St in the south, where it runs along the edge of the new St Peters Quarter BID. The boundary is defined in the east by the River and in the west by Friar Gate. Our objectives are: 1. To continue to develop the great Cathedral Quarter lifestyle experience for visitors and people working in the are to enjoy. 2. To continue to build the local, regional, national reputation of the Cathedral Quarter as a great place for the evening and night-time economy, retail, leisure, culture and professional services. 3. To continue to encourage growth, development and investment in the businesses which complement and build on the strengths of the Cathedral Quarter. We encourage all businesses to take an active interest in defining the priorities and projects to meet the aims of the BID plan.
