As a leading association the CDH represents more than 48,000 commercial agencies of all sectors. Our members are especially commercial agencies, i.e. independent companies, that intermediate goods between industrial firms, between industry and trade sector, or between wholesalers and retailers. However, the CDH is also open for other self-employed entrepreneurs that work in the sales business. Members of the regional associations are also industry representatives, distributors, sales engineers, merchandisers, etc. The CDH was established in 1902 and is the umbrella organization of 13 national associations in Germany. Furthermore, the CDH consists of 7 professional associations that can optimally represent the specific interests of the professions. Thereby, we can provide industry-specific expertise. CDH is the umbrella organization of 13 regional associations and 7 professional associations. We are the leading organization for distribution in Germany. We are a strong community and promote the interests of our members such as trade missions, industry representatives, commercial agents, distributors, sales engineers, merchandisers and commercial brokers. For our members we are providing expert legal advice, representation of their specific interests in the political field and connecting potential business partners.
