History CEL was founded in 1979 in the rural community of Hague, Saskatchewan. The original focus of the company was to serve the electrical needs of agricultural producers and processors in the surrounding area. Since then, CEL has increased its operations by expanding into Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1990 and Camrose, Alberta in 2000. Head office was moved from Hague to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 2002. In 2008 CEL incorporated the West-Ag office in Brandon MB into the CEL family. This has allowed for better service to clients through increased resources, better geographical coverage, and superior responsiveness. In April 2010, CEL acquired Provincial Electric of Regina, SK. CEL opened a branch in Calgary, Alberta in mid-2012. CEL also opened new branches in London, ONT and Langley, BC to expand our National reach. CEL also diversified beyond the agricultural market into commercial, industrial, government, and mining industries. We were awarded our first international project in 1992 with a contract in the Egyptian city of Mansura. Since then we have continued to develop our international presence with projects around the world. Regardless of the size of project, CEL is dedicated to providing our clients with quality workmanship. We are committed to professionalism and the safety and well-being of our staff and other contractors while on the jobsite. Experience With over 100 qualified tradespeople, project managers, and estimators on the CEL team, we have the experience and expertise that allows us to operate in a variety of industries Industrial CEL has undertaken both construction and service projects in diverse industrial applications. Our experience includes the mining industry, with substantial work performed in several of the potash and nickel mines in Western Canada. From pipe manufacturing plants, to flour mills, to large printing facilities, and concrete processing plants, CEL provides our clients with quality work and professional service.
