Centenary Methodist Church

centenary is a community of faith that seeks to worship god. we believe that the bible is our guide for our faith and practice, and that god has provided a way for people to have a relationship with himself through the person of jesus christ. centenary is a methodist congregation in the wesleyan tradition. that is, we believe that god desires all people to come into a relationship with god through christ. as wesleyans, we interpret the bible in light of relationships. our mission statement reflects our emphasis on relationships: "to strengthen and transform lives by living and sharing christ's love."​ this is grounded in the new testament words of jesus who said in matthew 25:37-39, "love the lord your god with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."​ and, "love your neighbor as yourself."​ centenary offers multiple opportunities for bible study and life in the community with other christians. sunday school small groups meet at 10:00 a.m. and are available for all ages. we have two sunday morning worship services, the traditional service meets at 11:15 a.m. and a more contemporary service is offered at 9.00 a.m.
