CI3 - Centre for the Innovation in Smart Infrastructures - is a non-profit public-sector company of general interest and its aim is to contribute to the development and promotion of information technologies (IT) applied to infrastructures. The mission of the Centre for the Innovation in Smart Infrastructures is to become a national and international reference centre in the research, development and innovation of technology services and products for advanced infrastructure projects in urban and inter-urban environments. The main objectives of the Centre for Innovation (CI3) are as follows: - To contribute to the development and promotion of smart infrastructures. In particular, this aim is to be achieved through actions designed to foster and develop projects in this field. - Promotion of actions that improve the efficiency of innovation and investigation at the Centre and its interaction with research groups, trading companies and international institutions. - Creation of a specific environment for innovation and technology-transfer activities in the sector through the development of smart projects that are environmentally efficient and for social use. The Centre has been developed by three founding trustees: Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha (JCCM), University of Alcalá (UAH) and the trading company Ferrovial.
