Centra Sota Cooperative is a locally-owned cooperative offering honest & helpful information, innovative products, and exceptional service. We're proudly celebrating a century of serving farmers, families, and communities throughout Central Minnesota. The Centra Sota story began in 1877 when farmers joined together to market milk and butter through a local creamery. In 1922, Producers Coop Creamery was formed and became the first cooperative to produce Land O Lakes Sweet Cream Butter. Since the 1940s, we have grown and acquired other cooperatives in central Minnesota, resulting in the name change to Centra Sota Cooperative. While we have a history of growth, we've made strategic decisions about each changes to ensure that it would benefit our member owners and the entire cooperative. Since then, our business has continued to evolve as we strive to not just meet, but to exceed, the expectations of our members and our growing base of customers. We are now a well-rounded cooperative with strong business units in agronomy, energy, feed and grain, country stores, and lawn care. Our knowledgeable, dependable team delivers a comprehensive array of products and services. While we are proud of our roots and experience, we are always looking for the best products and ideas to share. We strive to be a leader when it comes to everything from new products and techniques to new technologies and best practices.
