Central Supplies was established in 1988. Over subsequent years the business has grown in size and now is recognised as one of the leading distributors of chilled and ambient foods to the wholesale and cash and carry sectors. The business is now part of the Kitwave wholesale group. We have 2 storage, picking and distribution operations based in Halesowen and Peterlee. We deliver to the entire UK (excl NI) with most post codes delivered to a minimum of 3 times weekly. This is possible because of our considerable scale and a further 4 strategically located distribution hubs. Deliveries are made via a group fleet of over 100 multi temperature vehicles. Today we deliver to over 450 wholesale and cash and carry customers. Our customers vary in size from independently owned to multinational sited businesses. We have strong working relationships with all major buying groups including Confex, Unitas, Country Range and Fairway. We collaborate with most major food manufacturers to offer a consolidation supply service to the wholesale and cash and carry sector. Our consolidation solution includes, supply chain management, a flexible approach to customer management and competitive rates. We strive continually to improve our range and offering. Today we hold in stock over 300,000 cases covering more than 900 individual items.
