The CFA Society Switzerland boasts over 3000 Members in Switzerland, against barely 100 in 1996 at inception. It is the largest CFA Institute society in continental Europe. We support more than 6000 candidates enrolled in the CFA Program in Switzerland to become CFA Charterholders. Formerly known as the Swiss Society of Investment Professionals, the CFA Society Switzerland is a non-profit organisation, set up in 1996 as an association under Swiss Law and run by a board of volunteers. It was the third society of CFA charterholders outside North America to be directly affiliated with the prestigious CFA Institute, which includes more than 148,000 members in 150 countries. The vision of CFA Society Switzerland is to be a leader in fostering the highest level of knowledge, professionalism, and integrity in the investment business. Its mission is to represent the interests of our members and the investment community by: - Promoting the values represented by the CFA designation - Providing continuing professional education - Supporting CFA candidates - Encouraging contact and communication among members CFA Society Switzerland works actively with other CFA Societies worldwide to meet these objectives.
