Chemifloc is a wholly Irish-owned bulk manufacturer of inorganic coagulants and a bulk chemical importer. Chemifloc operates out of two sites in Shannon and Foynes. The Shannon facility manufactures Aluminium and Ferric Sulfates; Ferric Nitrate and Blended Inorganic Coagulants. The Foynes site is a bulk storage and distribution facility for Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic) (5000T) and Sulphuric Acid (5000T) as well as other other raw materials and chemicals. QUALITY AND SERVICE Since its foundation in 1981, Chemifloc has always concentrated on service and quality to the customer. In 2002 it achieved the ISO9001 quality standard. The company has always had a team of highly experienced Technical Service Experts to provide backup to the customer. This allows the customer to optimise the use of the chemicals for the particular application. In 2016 Chemifloc opened a new fully equipped Water Laboratory in Shannon where our Analysts carry out Bench Scale Testing including jar testing on raw water samples to resolve problems as they arise and also to optimise chemical dose rates. Chemifloc offers a full range of water treatment chemicals to our customers and with our technical support we ensure that every customer get the best cost performance solution possible for their application. HEALTH SAFETY and ENVIRONMENT Health & Safety and the Environment are very important to Chemifloc and in 2014 Chemifloc achieved the Environmental standard ISO14001:2004 and in 2016 it achieved the Health & Safety standard OHSAS 18001:2007 The company will continue to expand its range of products; to provide an unequaled service to customers; to give the best value for money.
