Chia Bia is one of Europes largest suppliers of chia seeds. Chia Bia was the first company to bring chia seed to Europe after founder Barrie Rogers experienced first hand the anti-inflammatory properties of chia seed after suffering a back injury while on holiday in the US in 2009. Barrie brought chia seeds home for friends and family to try. When it became apparent that taking chia resulted in better health, Barrie set up Chia Bia in and began importing chia seeds into Ireland. These tiny seeds are packed full of Omega 3, Protein, Fibre and Vitamins & Minerals, which help support a healthy & balanced lifestyle. Naturally gluten free and 100% natural, chia seeds are suitable for coeliacs and vegans. Chia Bias head offices and production facilities are located in Tramore, Co. Waterford, Ireland. Stringent quality control measures are implemented to ensure that only the highest quality chia seed makes it into each Chia Bia product.
