In 1956, Chung-Hsin Electric and Machinery Manufacturing Corp. (CHEM) was established. During the early years, the major scope of business was focused on the manufacture of electric motor andgenerator. With the rise and fall of Taiwan’s economy, CHEM not only diverse the scope of business but also have good performance in power equipment industry. Based on the operating center in Taiwan, CHEM wishs to achieve further peak by starting globalization and integrate the R&D, manufacturing and promotioin rigorously. The main product of CHEM is SF6 gas insulated switchgears (GIS). CHEM have diverse the scope of business which includes power equipment, meters, air conditioning products, generator, power automation, parking management, wireless communication, and system engineering. Furthermore, CHEM stepped into the R&D of renewable energy market in 2008. CHEM is looking forward to create more cleaning and energy saving products for the world. After 50 years transformation, CHEM is regarded as one of best manufacturers of power equipments in Taiwan. However, the leadership position in Taiwan’s power industry can not gratify us. In the future, CHEM will aim at the global market and achieve the leading positionin the world by competing with other companies.
