Our Mission To provide the people of Cork city and Ireland with a centre of excellence in science: -By fostering interest in science, engineering and technology through the medium of astronomy -By developing innovative programmes which increase awareness of science, engineering and technology -In collaborating with governmental, professional, industrial and educational establishments on programmes which increase awareness of science, engineering and technology through research in astronomy, optics and imaging -By exploring and developing applications for our research -Through consultative services to governmental, professional, industrial and educational establishments -Through our activities and commitment, inspire people of all ages and from all walks of life to experience the wonder of science
