The City of North Battleford was established as a City on May 1st, 1913. It is more than a home to the people that live here. It is a place that has nourished many a settler's past and continues to provide opportunities for growth. It has become a City that has evolved into more than "just another farming" community on the prairies. 2011 Census Statistics show our population at 13,888 -- a 5.3% increase over 2006 statistics. Our sister community on the south side of the river, Battleford, has a population of more than 4,000. The City of North Battleford employs more than 200 people and provides public works, parks/recreation, economic development, fire protection, water, sewer, waste and administrative services.
