Claris Lifesciences Limited (Claris) was the Holding Company of Claris Injectables Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary dealing in Specialty Injectables business that was carved out in Nov 2014. Claris Injectables was sold to Baxter International Inc. in Jul 2017. Since its inception in 1999, Claris worked towards creating a niche in a highly-regulated business. Over a history of 17 years, we created nearly a billion-dollar valuation, with establishing world-class integrated business model that helped garner several stringent international regulatory approvals, including US FDA. Claris also entered a Joint Venture (JV) in August 2013 with Japanese companies Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory, Inc. and Mitsui & Co. Ltd. for its Infusion business in India & emerging markets, selling 80% stake and creating JV company Claris Otsuka Private Limited (COPL). Claris has completed the sale of its remaining stake to Otsuka, and exited from the JV. Claris growth is escalated through the diligent work carried out by members to take the organisation to newer heights year-on-year.
