Coal Port Services (CPS) was established in 2013 to offer first class logistics management and export documentation services to the Australian coal industry. We have rapidly grown to be one of the largest logistics service providers in Australia. We are the most experienced and trusted logistics provider in the Port of Newcastle, with links and pedigree going back three generations to Gray & Timmins Pty Ltd, who were integral in providing both agency and logistics services to producers and traders shipping out of the Port of Newcastle for over 40 years. Coal Port Services has already grown to five full time staff members, with additional skilled support personnel available as needed. CPS provides our customers a 24 hour a day, 365 days a year on-call service. Our customers include coal producers, commodity traders and financial institutions. Coal Port Services is committed to providing the highest level of service to our customers through our team, who have an unrivalled knowledge base and commercial expertise. Founded by two highly experienced coal traders and logistics experts, Andrew Arthur & Stephanie Black, our aim is to create a complete “end to end” service to our customers, not provided elsewhere within the industry. Understanding the intricacies of the coal chain is paramount in managing execution risk and protecting margins for our customers when dealing with multi-million dollar cargoes. With expertise in trading both physical and financial markets, day to day logistics, vessel agency, quality control and export documentation we have all bases covered to ensure our customers’ complete satisfaction from start to finish on each cargo.
