Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We are a Spirit-filled Christian community that welcomes all people to gather to worship, grow in faith, and go to serve in love. We are a loving Christian community that welcomes all people, regardless of age, race, gender, disability, social class, or sexual orientation. We seek to serve God and our neighbors through the church, including our music, worship, and education ministries, just to name a few. More importantly, we serve God and our neighbors beyond our walls through our relationships with Cardinal Campus Ministries at Ball State University, Habitat for Humanity, Covenant Partners, Christian Ministries, A Better Way, and many others. We partner with seven other United Methodist churches to reach our community. Methodism has a solid foundation in the Muncie area, dating back to 1836. College Avenue, founded in 1900, has been built on this foundation of countless faithful Christians serving this community. We are also part of the East District of the Indiana Conference, meaning were linked with 1,200 other United Methodist Churches in our state. Were dedicated to supporting the broader church with our gifts and our service. Were connected to the United Methodist Church with more than 12 million members around the world. We hold to historic doctrines of the Christian faith. Methodists have always been known for our emphasis on personal faith lived out with concrete actions in our world.
