community resources for children

Community Resources for Children is a private, nonprofit organization working to meet the child care needs in our community. Our mission is to provide resources for the early care and education of children in Napa County. Funding for our programs comes from state & federal government, individuals, businesses and foundations. Our services include assisting parents in finding child care by providing free child care referrals and information on choosing quality child care; working with families who need help paying for child care in order for them to remain employed, in school, or in training leading towards self-sufficiency; providing payment for respite child care services for children at risk of abuse or neglect; orientations and technical assistance for those interested in opening licensed family child care homes; trainings and workshops for child care professionals for their continued education; educating the community on the needs of young children and their families; maintaining a toy library and early learning center: and advocating for children and families.
