CONSELVA, COSTAS Y COMUNIDADES, A. C. began its activities as a non-profit organization in mid-2009, thus formalizing a trajectory of more than 20 years of previous work in conservation and sustainable development of its founding partners. The prestige, experience and a multidisciplinary team of high level professionals with a deep social commitment, together with the financial support of seven national and foreign government agencies; Four international foundations and three national foundations have made Conselva today one of the most prestigious environmental organizations in the northwest. Conselva has been able to build an extensive network of allies in very diverse sectors of society in southern Sinaloa, with whom it shares an environmental agenda focused on the conservation and management of hydrological basins, which ensures a prosperous and sustainable future for the region. Conselva has the federal registration of civil society organization 12-25-1-0341 and in May 2012 received authorization from the SAT to issue tax deductible receipts. Our mission: Build a prosperous and sustainable future for the inhabitants of northwestern Mexico, articulating society, business and government in integrated watershed management that ensures the natural production of water and the conservation of its biodiversity.
