We build profitable companies and projects that support nature conservation. CIM is a business incubation and investment company focused on positive environmental and social impact. Our investors are looking for investment opportunities that are both profitable and improve the health of our lands, waters, and forests. Our investment universe includes mitigation and conservation banks, carbon offset projects, water quality projects, sustainably managed ranches and farms and eco-tourism ventures. We also invest in early stage companies whose technology could improve our conservation outcomes by, for example, lowering the cost of restoration or monitoring activities or by opening new markets for nature conservation. We also partner with public agencies and foundations to create green business incubators for rural communities. Our model is to bring the incubator to the communities to solve local issues. Building on our extensive knowledge of ecology, business, and investment, we help local champions to design, prototype and grow their business ideas to create local jobs and improve their local environment. CIM and the US Forest Service have entered into a nation-wide partnership to provide business incubation services to communities located near National Forests.
