Copenhagen Game Collective is a multi-gender, multi-national, award-winning game design collective based in Copenhagen, Denmark. We make games of all types, including browser-based games, pervasive games, card games, board games, Wiimote games, social network games, and mods. We advocate game design practices that are messily collaborative, and believe that the design process should be as fun and social as the end product itself. Our goal is to call attention to the thriving independent game design scene that already exists in Copenhagen, as well as to bring together our extended network of friends to build an even tighter community; despite all the rhetoric around virtual communities and Web 2.0, we believe that place still matters.
