Craft Moves

Craft Moves is an initiate community organisation that has great potential to tackle loneliness and social isolation on transport with the partnership or help with local Transport and council authorities. The organisation was formed during The Loneliness Lab, a week-long design sprint funded by Collectively and Lendlease to make London a less lonely city to live in for many people. Our aim is to make public transport and open spaces more social and facilitate meaningful interaction between strangers by using craft. 9 million people in the UK feel lonely and we want to change that. Craft Moves wants to focus on public transport because it is typically seen as an anti-social environment. We want those who are socially isolated and who feel lonely to feel connect more in their everyday life
