CS Ethical was incorporated in 2007 with the specific intent of satisfying the unmet Australian market demand by medical practitioners and consumers for a medical grade chondroitin sulphate that had a large body of peer reviewed published literature to support its claims to efficacy. CS Ethical imports the worlds leading medical grade chondroitin sulphate and is responsible for its commercialisation and market development in Australia. While secondary stage manufacture is carried out in Switzerland, CS Ethical imports a semi-finished product and completes its final stage manufacture in Australia. The finished product is branded as 'Condrosulf', which is the same branding as in Switzerland. Condrosulf is supplied by CS Ethical to Australian pharmaceutical wholesalers. CS Ethical also supplies product directly to customers in Australia and overseas via a website. In Europe Condrosulf is indicated for the treatment of osteoarthritis and is a subsidised pharmaceutical on the national health systems of numerous European countries. At present Condrosulf is only available in Australia as a private drug. In the future CS Ethical may make an application for Condrosulf's inclusion on the Australian PBS. CS Ethical's main markets are Australia and the US however product is shipped to many developed countries throughout the world.
