Cumbria CVS is a membership organisation providing infrastructure support to the third (community and voluntary/charitable) sector and was established as a result of the merger of 5 District CVS in 2007. We have district offices in Barrow, Carlisle, Kendal, Maryport and Penrith. We work with a wide range of groups and organisations from small community groups to large voluntary organisations. The special interests of the groups we work with include faith, environment, equality and diversity, disability, sport, health, social care and social enterprise. Cumbria CVS is managed by a Board of Trustees drawn from our membership and other organisations. Services are delivered by a team of people experienced in delivering quality support to third sector organisations.
