The Czech Society of Actuaries (ČSpA) was established in 1992 as a continuation of the activities of the Association of Czechoslovak Insurance Technicians founded on 27 February 1919. It is a voluntary association of actuaries and specialists whose focus is related to actuaries. It strives for the widest possible application of actuarial profession in insurance, social security, state administration and financial risk management. It mediates professional and social contacts between actuaries. It focuses on supporting education and research in actuarial sciences. The company is representative of the Czech actuarial profession in the International Actuarial Association (IAA) and in the European Actuarial Association (AAE), whose standards and recommendations are being implemented in actuarial practice.Společnost je představitelem české aktuárské profese v Mezinárodní aktuárské asociaci (IAA) a v Evropské aktuárské asociaci (AAE), jejichž standardy a doporučení zavádí do aktuárské praxe. ČSpA has more than 300 members.
