Established in 1959, Dandenong Basketball has enjoyed consistent growth and is recognized as a leader in the Australian sporting landscape. Based in the massive fifteen-court Dandenong Stadium (270 Stud Road, Dandenong North), Dandenong Basketball manages the largest purpose built basketball facility in Australia and attracts 17,000 visitors to the venue each week. In 2019 Dandenong Basketball is the proud home of: 3 National League Teams: - Dandenong Jayco Rangers (WNBL) - NBL1 Rangers Women - NBL1 Schweppes Dandenong Rangers Men 42 State League Teams - VIC Youth League Championship Men & Women - Dandenong Junior Rangers (40 x Junior Boys & Girls Teams) The Dandenong Basketball Association also provides basketball competition to approximately 800 domestic teams on a weekly basis, ranging from Under 9 through to Open Age divisions, making it one of the largest basketball associations in the southern hemisphere. Throughout Australia, Dandenong Basketball is held in high esteem and we strive to achieve excellence both on and off the court.
