Desserts by Jen & Jeff

My passion for baking began ever since I was in 2nd grade - one day my class grew a little vegetable garden, and we would be able to pick the produce to cook with. One week we picked carrots to bake a carrot cake...and funny enough, this is how it all began! From then, it became a hobby to bake at home for family and friends. In 2018, I decided to bake my own pink ombre birthday cake and some dessert cups. Many of my friends suggested I should start my own side business, but I was very hesitant. Overtime as my confidence grew, I decided to do it. I started an Instagram account, and soon after I got my very first order. Throughout High School and University, Desserts by Jen was a hobby business where I would invest into during my spare time to help balance with full time work. At the start of 2019, I decided I needed to expand my team and brought on my partner Jeff. Jeff’s knowledge and baking experience has contributed massively to where the business is today. Since then, I have decided to pursue the business full-time. We decided to revamp our marketing strategy, product catalogue and customer base to cater for all occasions and demographics. We currently offer a variety of different desserts which range from: 1. Dessert cups 2. Cupcakes 3. Customised cakes 4. Creme brulees 5. Fondant and cafe style cookies 6. Brownies 7. Personalised dog treats. Together, we aim to provide quality service and quality products, and we are grateful for everyone’s underlying support. We are determined to grow our little business, and we are very excited to see what the future holds for us!
