Since 1975, DVFA has served over 10,000 older adults in Contra Costa County and continues to be a leading senior services agency. The Foundation is committed to providing vital services to the elderly in Central Contra Costa County. We assist aging persons who are at risk because they are alone, isolated, pressed by financial problems or are confused. We seek alternatives to institutionalized care, believing that older adults benefit from staying in their own homes as long as possible. We work closely with other entities in the community to ensure that residents receive needed services at an affordable cost.
