Digital3rd was founded by 3 directors on a simple belief. The world of IT is undergoing a fundamental shift, the advent of cloud technologies mean that in the right environment young people can deliver high quality IT and Digital services that previously would have been off-shored to save cost. By delivering these services from the UK we are helping to ensure that the next generation has future in the UK Tech Industry. During the few years that Digital3rd existed the young people working for it achieved some great wins, including: Saving a Careers Advice company ~£40k / year on their IT costs by: Migrating 130 users, 1.5 TB of files and 200+ email accounts data to Office 265, Upgrading 200+ laptops to windows 10, Training 130 users in how to use Windows 10, Office 365, SharePoint, One-drive etc.. Training 130 user in Cyber Security and supporting the organisation through Cyber Essentials. Then sadly, decommissioning 200+ PC's ensuring secure data destruction and supporting asset disposal of the IT infrastructure for the organisation following a change in a government contract and being forced into administration with the loss of 130 jobs.... Many thanks to Linda, Tracy and the other members of the management team for their faith in young people and the opportunity to do something different.
