The DOWEL Group results from the merger of three innovation management consulting companies: - ABSO Conseil, from now on "DOWEL STRATEGIE"​: Innovations’ strategic positioning and market studies - TECHNOFI, from now on "DOWEL MANAGEMENT"​: Innovation management and funding - OPTINNOVE, from now on "DOWEL FINANCEMENT"​: Optimisation of innovation investments > About DOWEL STRATEGIE (formerly ABSO Conseil) ABSO Conseil, a consultancy firm specialized in strategy and market studies, was created in 2008 by Frédéric Volle in Montpellier (France). Formerly consultant from an international consulting firm, he decided to create its own company in order to foster its clients’ growth, especially in the innovation sector. ABSO Conseil was rapidly positioned as a reference stakeholder at a regional scale. New offices were created in Paris in 2012 and in Lyon in 2017, giving a new dynamic to the company’s development. ABSO Conseil joined the group formed by OPTinnove and TECHNOFI in 2017. > About DOWEL MANAGEMENT (formerly TECHNOFI) TECHNOFI was founded in 1985 in Sophia Antipolis (France) to support companies (large groups and SMEs), research organizations, public bodies and business associations in developing their innovation strategy. TECHNOFI has developed a unique know-how in the setting-up, the funding, the participation and the management of European projects, with more than 400 M€ raised for its clients since 2004. In addition, TECHNOFI has developed expertise in the sustainable development area (smart energy systems, smart cities and buildings, resource efficiency and CSR). TECHNOFI joined OPTinnove in 2015. > About DOWEL FINANCEMENT (formerly OPTinnove) OPTinnove was founded by Patrick Chanudet in 2010 in Paris in order to meet French companies’ needs in terms of fiscal optimization of their research and innovation investments. It addresses start-ups or medium-sized companies and is specialized in High-Tech, Green Tech, Biotechnology and Social Sciences.
