We are all born special, we are all born with powerful dreams of what we want to become. Yet from our youngest moments, among friends and family, through our formative years, in sports and school, we receive conditioning messages to give up on our dreams. These messages are never as direct as give up on your dream, no, messages this direct are easy to ignore. The messages we receive are far more subtle and put in the form of our best interests. We receive them innocently from friends and family. We have all heard the lines- Play it safe, Get a good job, You might fail, Don't be so competitive, Money won't bring you happiness...You get the point. It is through this subconscious, gentle, negative influence that pushes us to give up on our dreams. By listening to others rather than ourselves, by accepting a reality imposed upon us by the outside world rather than creating our own reality we end up killing our uniqueness and surrendering our passions at the altar of conformity., we end up confused, lost, and unhappy. Working in jobs we hate and pursuing artificial satisfaction and gratification, convincing ourselves we are winning. It's time to end this delusion of life! We were, we are, born to be incredible. And it is time to embrace this reality! It is time to reject the rules that lie to us, it is time to take the chance to become all we are capable of, to create and live our dreams.
