DREP is committed to building "connectors"​ and "toolkits"​ based on blockchain technology, providing solutions that combine ease of use, flexibility and frictionless integration. Based on DREP Chain, DREP ID, DREP Reputation Protocol and DREP SDK, DREP aims to build an open data ecosystem on chain, opening up segregated user groups and data silos across multiple chains. Current blockchain adoption is still segregated into data silos. Both public chains and private enterprise chains establish closed ecosystems in order to maximize competitive advantage. As a result, dApps (decentralized applications) have to develop independent versions for different public chains in order to reach more users, this results in segregated user and data bases. To address this issue, DREP proposes decentralized ID, cross-chain structures and the DREP SDK to serve as a "connector"​, supporting multi-public-chain asset versions with one-click; cross-platform data integration and privacy protection in data sharing based on homomorphic encryption. As blockchain moves from the research lab into the real-world, enterprises are finding they lack knowledge about blockchain and therefore are unable to put this technology to use. Now, regardless of infrastructure or application; light, high-quality and usable product solutions are needed to establish a market of value, solve genuine business pain points, drive technological output and improve user experience. In this respect, DREP, functioning as a "toolkit"​, adopts a customized dual-layer architecture, advanced API and Plug-in support, as well as the DREP SDK which caters to differing verticals. In short, DREP's mission statement is: - not just high throughput, but remove business-limiting bottlenecks; - not just customer-facing services, but allowing individual and corporate users to seamlessly use blockchain services; - not just for commercial gain, but to connect all data.
