Dust of Soul is the internationally known Swiss musical duo consisting of the native Basel singer Saskia Stäuble, known as Dusty, and the native Lucerne pianist Michael Odermatt, known as MiKey. The successful story of Dust of Soul begins in July 2012 in New York and has spread worldwide ever since. The self-created music style, with the powerful voice of the singer, reminds us of the diversity of a musical play, as well as the depth of the soul music. The pianist's sensitive Grand Piano-playing evokes emotion as in the case of film music. Together, the self-composed songs reach a never-before-heard symphony of modernity and classical music, drawn by two strongly characterised personalities. Dust of Soul stands out with the talent to create music on the stage "live" at the moment. This creates an unprecedented proximity between artists and the audience with a magnetised atmosphere. Highlights of their musical career include concerts in the opera house TEATRO DAL VERME in Milano, the New York concert hall W. M. P CONCERT HALL, the well-known shows at the prestigious Swiss castle CHÂTEAU GÜTSCH in Lucerne, the spectacular performances on the ice field LIVE ON ICE as in Zurich, and the big concert in the ACROPOLIUM DE CARTHAGE in Tunisia. In 2017 Dust of Soul performed in the CITY AMPHITHEATER QURUM Muscat Oman, presented by MTV India. Dust of Soul appears around the world as a duo since 2012 more than 100 concerts in 8 countries on 4 continents. The duo collaborates with local artists to set a sign in coming together with true art. Thereof the campaign #HumanityFirst formed to build a bridge between nations and cultures through arts. For this initiative and their musical work, Federal President of Switzerland, Johann N. Schneider-Ammann, honoured Dust of Soul in 2016 with a personal letter. Currently Dust of Soul is working on a Swiss-Oman project The Color of Oman is Love to reach a symphony of the Swiss and Omani cultures through a fusion with an Omani singer.
