E. Aabo Andersen A / S - called Aabo Maleanlæg - was founded April 10th in 1980 by director Erling Aabo Andersen himself at home in Thurø, Svendborg. During the subsequent years, the company develops to be one of the leading Danish companies within finishing plants powder coating as well as wet paint. Since the company began to grow, the first stop on the tour was at the town square in Svendborg with sales and engineering department. But the company was expanding and moved to a rented factory with production facilities. And in 2005 the doors opened to a newly built factory, situated on the outskirts of Svendborg. From here, all finishing plants are designed and manufactured exactly to customers individual requirements and wishes. At the new factory Aabo produces all components for a modern, environment friendly and economical finishing plant. The erection of the constructions is of course handled by Aabo's own trained technical supervisors. The technical supervisors are responsible for starting the installation and training of the personnel. Today, nearly 40 years after it all began; it is his son Claus Aabo Andersen, who is the director of more than 35 employees worldwide.
