ECC Technologies was incorporated in 1995 to provide technology and communications consulting services to Educational, Corporate, and Community clients (ECC). Since our inception our Broadband division has provided consulting services from the Rochester, NY Region, expanding to North Carolina in 2011. We are a national leader in Open Access dark fiber broadband networks, winning the 2015 NYS Broadband Program Office's Extraordinary Broadband Team Award. Our Technology & Security Consulting division has worked with schools and universities throughout the state to upgrade the systems needed to keep New York schools at the forefront of learning and to keep students safe while at school. Our North Carolina team is the exclusive marketing and commercialization partner for MCNC's Golden LEAF Rural Broadband Initiative and has expanded to help regional EMCs design and build fiber rings throughout their region that can be used for SmartGrid technologies and have the potential to bring broadband access to some of North Carolina's neediest areas. Over the past 20 years, ECC has become a diverse Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), NYS WBE, NC HUB (WBE), and WBENC-Certified WBE and WOSB providing our services to education, municipalities/government, electric cooperatives, and corporate clients.
