European Cinema Consulting GmbH (ecco*) was founded at the beginning of 2012 by industry veteran Thomas Rüttgers who has worked in the cinema industry for over 25 years. As an independent consultancy and distribution company ecco* builds a bridge between manufacturers, integrators and exhibitors aiming at fostering the dialogue between these interest groups. In doing so, we would like to create a European business network that gives a voice to all parties involved in the cinema project. Ecco is in representing the Manufacturers D-BOX, Christie, Dolby, Eurogroup, Euroseating, KCS, as well as several other selected products for the European market. As part of his recent acquisitions he also bought one of the largest european AV-Distributor of Belden Cable (www.beldenkabel.de). Thomas Rüttgers is also Vice President of the International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA) and in charge of organizing the ICTA European Seminar Series taking place prior to CineEurope in Barcelona each year and from 2015 on also at the Movie Trade Show in Munich.
