Edgbaston Investment Partners is an institutionally oriented investment management firm which specialises in Asia Pacific ex-Japan equity investments. Our Investment Programme is one of a few value-focused, long-only strategies investing across a broad spectrum of market capitalisations in the developed, emerging and frontier markets in the region. We manage a single investment strategy via our two commingled funds. Our primary goal is to deliver a best-in-class Investment Programme by compounding good returns whilst maintaining a long-term perspective, both in our investment work and in running our business. The firm was established in 2008 by Charu Fernando and partners. We have a team of thirteen, including five investment professionals: Charu Fernando, Sarah Nichols, Geraldine Arrigoni, Christian O’Kelly and Mark Burrows. Edgbaston was formed with the support and backing of Silchester International Investors.
