The company finds its origins in 1922 when E.J. Papadopoulos’s family arrived in Greece. Evangelos Papadopoulos opened the first factory in Athens (Tavros) introducing the art of biscuit-making in Greece with the well-known and loved brand of Petit-Beurre. Today we operate 4 plants in Athens, Thessaloniki, Volos and Oinofyta as well as a Distribution Center in Aspropyrgos area (West Attika), according to the International Quality Management Standard ISO 9001 and the Food Safety Standard ISO 22000 certifications, including the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) system. We are enjoying today a leading position in the biscuit segment with a variety of popular products and brands such as Petit-Beurre, Miranda, Caprice, Cream Crackers, Digestive and at the same time a significant market share in the bread & bread substitutes segment. The company’s turnover reached €178,9 million in 2020 (compared to €173,8 million in 2019), in all product categories. Since 1922 we hold a special place in the heart of the Greeks, providing them with high quality and nutritional products. Our products are distributed in more than 61 countries across 5 continents with the Caprice brand leading the way.
