Ekornes Beds AS is a fully owned subsidiary of Ekornes ASA, located in Fetsund in Norway, 30 kilometres northeast of Oslo. Launched by Ekornes in 1937, Svane is recognized as Norways first furniture brand. Svane has evolved since its beginnings, but the public trust in the brand remains strong. Svanes slogan reads: Its the inside that counts. The core of our brand is that the inner qualities of the mattress determine the quality of sleep. As a result, we focus on innovations that improve sleep comfort. Ekornes Beds use of the gel material IntelliGel® shows that we are serious about sleep comfort. The unique material provides pressure relief for the shoulder and hip areas as well as body support. This gives more flexibility in terms of movement, and enables you to easily switch sleeping positions. The IntelliGel® material has great ventilation properties, which makes the mattress keep a comfortable temperature all night through.
