El-Kretsen is the business sectors service company for handling producer responsibility for WEEE and batteries in Sweden. El-Kretsen is owned by 20 business associations and is run on a non-profit basis. Our system is designed to ensure environmental friendly handling and is run together with all the municipals of Sweden. We only work with certified recycling undertakings and in accordance with Swedish environmental regulations. By affiliating to El-Kretsen, producers do not have to set up a system of their own. Our system meets and exceeds the statutory requirements for all undertakings, which means a practical and cost-efficient solution for affiliated customers. Since 2001 El-Kretsen has built up its infrastructure and know-how about recycling of WEEE and batteries. We are interested in sharing our knowledge and also to learn more. And we use LinkedIn as a tool for sharing and networking about good ideas and experiences that we come across.
