ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) Malaysia is an English as a second language school from Australia and is the first centre to operate outside of the country. Designed for the Australian education system, ELICOS has been developed to allow non-English speakers (ESL) to enhance their English for their work, travel or study. Our English Courses are designed to give students the confidence to communicate effectively in real-life situations. The course provides a balanced programme, focusing on the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, whilst covering essential grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, idioms and colloquial language. In addition, Elicos has a strong focus on the IELTS exam, as the preparation for the challenging exam starts from the lower levels, accompanied with conversation classes and daily computer lab sessions. An active learning approach is always taken to ensure classes are lively and interactive and to continually challenge students. Additionally, our classrooms are equipped with the latest in technology to provide students with various learning methods and tools.
