Follicular Unit Extraction, (FUE) is the most advanced and latest hair transplantation technique in which individual follicle grafts are removed from the patient’s donor area and then transplanted to the recipient area. The follicle is placed at an angle so that the hair matches the recipients existing or original hair style. Follicles naturally grow with multiple hairs, some follicles can contain as many as 4 hairs. Single hair grafts are used to lower or rebuild a hairline and multiple hair follicles are used to increase density and create a fuller, healthier head of hair. FUE is not limited to just correcting hair loss on the top of head. FUE can also be used to restore hair on the eyebrows, mustaches, beards and sideburns.
