ELIX - Conservation Volunteers Greece, is a non-governmental not-for profit organization promoting voluntary service and education, since 1987. The main aim of ELIX is the personal development of individuals as citizens of the world, through active participation in international voluntary projects. ELIX realizes international actions of voluntary contribution, aiming at the protection of the environment, the preservation of our cultural heritage, intercultural exchanges and social service projects. For the realization of its actions, ELIX cooperates with National and Local Administrative bodies, as well as local Associations. Private Companies and Institutions are sponsoring an important number of ELIX projects, as well as funding from the European Union.
