Emu Trekkers is Australia’s first 100% not-for-profit, outdoor adventure tour operator run entirely by volunteers. Our motto? Hike Australia, help kids! We offer hiking trips around Sydney and the Blue Mountains to raise funds for education and welfare projects for disadvantaged children and youth across Australia. Our guides are passionate about using their skills to share the amazing outdoor experiences at our doorstep. We are dedicated to three main aims: 1. Helping disadvantaged children and youth From schooling to health and welfare projects, we want to raise funds to support disadvantaged children and youth across Australia. 2. Promoting the Environment The Australian bush is a beautiful, yet fragile place. We are committed to promoting the Australian environment in a way that minimises our footprint and fosters an appreciation for the outdoors. 3. Raising Awareness We aim to raise awareness and encourage conversation about social issues affecting Australia, especially those affecting children and youth.
