We enable fellow charities to deliver greater impact in their work. Enclude is an award-winning Irish social enterprise, and the largest technology charity in Europe. Founded in 2006, Enclude has channeled €55m worth of donated technology to Irish charities, through its partnerships with Techsoup Global and Salesforce.org. Enclude has delivered affordable information solutions to almost 10% of staffed Irish charities, including Pieta House, MQI [Merchant’s Quay], Depaul and Macra Na Feirme. Enclude is self financing. In addition to work with individual clients, Enclude have partnered with fellow charity Quality Matters and key stakeholders from the addiction services sector, to co-design a solution now in use by over 60% of all addiction services in the country. This provides management information to community based organisations, to support their service delivery, while also facilitating the provision of timely, quality data to the Dept of Health to better inform policy decisions in the drugs area. The estimated annual resource savings in staff time on administration, and software licences across the addiction services amounts to €5m per annum. This co-design strategy, across a whole services sector, can be repeated in all sectors and we launched our eSAFE services solution [domestic violence services] in 2021.
