Engro Vopak Terminal Limited (EVTL) is the largest independent chemical storage terminal in Pakistan. It is a joint venture between Engro Chemicals Pakistan Limited and Royal Vopak of the Netherlands. It is engaged in handling and storage of chemicals and LPG. In early 2009, Ethylene cryogenic storage facility with 14000 m3 capacity was commissioned, which is the first such facility in Pakistan. The company completed eleven years of safe operations without lost work injury in November 2008. The terminal continued to maintain health, safety and quality standards as per OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and 14001 and Vopak standards. Product throughput for the year 2008 was 879,000 tons versus 800,000 tons in 2007.
