Erretre was founded in 1974 as a technical business with the aim of bringing about new ideas to leather processing. Over the years, we have registered one hundred patents internationally confirmation of the originality of Erretres technical solutions. By 1984 our collaboration with the University of Occupational Medicine of Padua had resulted in new aerosol treatment systems. Were proud that our systems were in place and operational a full decade before legislation on spraying and worker safety came into being, positioning us as an industry leader in spray technology. At the same time, we continued with our other innovations, including dry milling. Erretre has had its own milling drums production since very early in its life, and through constant development, research and innovation, the Chemical Milling was created a technology for finishing leather directly within the milling operation. Today, many years later, the same creativity in research continues to drive our class-leading innovations in leather processing and production.
