Our services include Strategic Estate Development, Healthcare Planning, Property Consultancy, Capital Development, Sustainability, Procurement, Technology, and Interim Management Resourcing. Essentia started life as an in-house directorate of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, designing, building and maintaining healthcare infrastructure, with services ranging from catering, cleaning and portering to building, engineering and sterile services. 1,800 people still work for this core part of Essentia, as employees of the NHS. In 2013, Essentia Trading Limited was launched as Essentias commercial arm. We are a subsidiary business wholly owned by Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust and all our profits are reinvested into the Trust. We operate as a separate limited liability company, but we remain proudly by the NHS, for the NHS. Our 50 employees provide consultancy services, working with clients on strategy and estate development, and helping them to become more efficient and more effective. We are a team of experts, with a vast knowledge and experience gained from across the public and private sectors. What unites us is a relentless drive for innovation and excellence, and the belief in an integrated approach to strategic estate development.
